Christmas parade
HOLIDAY HAPPINESS: Thank you for a lovely parade and bringing the town together for this awesome event.

FEELS LIKE A KID AGAIN: I don’t care how old you are, you feel like a kid seeing Santa on the big fire truck. Thank you, it made me smile and remember when my kids looked forward to the last fire truck. Merry Christmas to all!

FRIENDLY NEIGHBORS: Cambridge-Dorchester Christmas Parade 2019 was a success! I loved seeing so many familiar faces.

THANKS: What a great parade! Thanks to all who created awesome floats and to all the volunteers and donors who made the parade possible!
Neighbors facing danger

PRAISE FOR VOLUNTEERS: We have some really awesome volunteers here in our beautiful Dorchester County. Let’s not forget the people who run into danger when we are running away from it — our first responders. The folks at Church Creek Volunteer Fire Company Station 46, East New Market VFC, Hoopers Island Volunteer Fire Company, Linkwood-Salem Volunteer Fire Company, Inc., Neck District Volunteer Fire Co., Rescue Fire Company Cambridge, and Taylor’s Island Volunteer Fire Company all deserve a huge pat on the back and a hug, as well as donations to help keep these companies up and running to keep us safe in our homes and businesses.
