Vikings beat North Dorchester 42-28

CAMBRIDGE – North Dorchester High School’s wrestlers visited Cambridge-South Dorchester High School on Friday, where the Vikings prevailed, 42-28.

The meet featured a couple of big wins for the Eagles, though, as two of the Vikings’ top men were defeated.

In the 152-pound class, Mizell Cooper won a “sudden victory” overtime decision over Cullen Cannon, 11-9. In the 195s, Jayke Conner of North Dorchester outscored Camren Lake, 12-3.

The result put C-SD at eighth place in the Bayside Conference, with an overall record of 4-10. North Dorchester is in ninth, with a record of 2-8. Undefeated North Caroline sits atop the conference, at 7-0.
