MD-3xsa nathan donates to ironclub-032116

Special to Dorchester Banner/Jill Jasuta

The Nathan Foundation is the first donor to the 2016 IRONClub Maryland campaign. IRONClub Maryland is a booster club for IRONMAN Maryland (IMMD), the 140.6-mile race that will happen in Dorchester County on October 1, 2016. The donation will go toward the $100,000 licensing fee that must be paid to IRONMAN for the event. In 2015, IMMD pumped about $2.74 million into the local economy. From left, Gerry Boyle, IMMD race director; Edward Nabb Jr., and Rob Collison of the Nathan Foundation; and Amanda Fenstermaker, chair of IRONClub Maryland. Find out more at IRONClubMD.com.
