Lady Vikes varsity girls’ soccer beat Eagles, 9-1

SHILOH — The Lady Vikings earned a win in varsity soccer action on Tuesday at North Dorchester, beating the Eagles 9-1. The victory improved the Vikings’ record to 4-1 overall, 2-1 in the North Bayside.

C-SD freshman Brooke Windsor continued her winning ways, with 3 goals as the Lady Vikes’ leading scorer of the game. Emily Brohawn added 2 while senior Regan Jones was an offensive force with 2 scores and three assists.

Bayley Tracy and her twin Morgan kept it in the family for the Vikings’ sixth goal – Bayley kicked the score with an assist from Morgan. Riley Keener added a goal and two assists, and Tiaziah Wright got in on the action with an assist.

Kayla Collins scored for North Dorchester (0-5, 0-3) off a deflected free kick by Kadie Laramore.

Goalkeeper Sabrina McKelvey helped shut down the Eagles’ attack with 19 saves.

The Lady Vikings will play Tuesday at home versus Kent County, varsity game time 5:30 p.m. North Dorchester will travel to Kent Island, JV game at 4:00 p.m., varsity at 5:30 p.m.
