ANNAPOLIS – The Maryland State Police’s Medevac helicopter searched Sunday for a person who jumped off the Bay Bridge as emergency personnel tried to convince the person to come down.

Rescue workers, including some in a fireboat, worked in dangerous conditions on the Eastern Shore side as the search continued in high winds and rough water.

Eastbound U,S, Route 50 was down to one lane, with delays resulting.
