BROOKVIEW — Proceeds from the sales (from during the recently held Brookview Community Day) of beautiful garden art — fashioned and donated by Wendy Garner of Federalsburg was donated to the Eldorado-Brookview Volunteer Fire Company.

Mrs. Garner so graciously crafted and sold these Garden Whimsys and generously donated the proceeds from the sale of these items. There are more of these benefit beautys in stock and available to purchase for $5 each at the North Dorchester thrift-shoppe Brookview Hope Treasures.

The subsequent sales of the garden art pieces will also benefit the local volunteer fire company. Stop by soon for the best availability to the shop located just off Route 14 at 5618 Indiantown Road in the town of Brookview.

A matching donation was made by the Brookview Hope Treasures Shop. The shop has consistently supported many causes of the local area, through sales of reasonably priced new and used merchandise, and chose to assist Mrs. Garner’s efforts to help the fire company by matching her donation.

Additionally, the Eldorado-Brookview Volunteer Fire Company would like to invite all to enjoy a Pulled Pork BBQ Lunch Platter scheduled for June 2. Sales of the benefit lunch begin at 10 a.m. until. For information or to preorder call 443-614-2626.

Brookview Hope Treasures hours of operation are Thurs-Fri 9-4 and Saturdays 8-2 pm.
