North Dorchester Class of 2019 play is praised

CAMBRIDGE — Members of the Dorchester County Council commended on April 2 the cast and crew of North Dorchester High School’s senior class play, “Beauty and the Beast.” The musical was performed in early March.

Lenny Pfeffer (District 4) read, “Whereas directors Lisa Rank, Sabra Steward and Adam Wilson have worked diligently to produce the North Dorchester High School 2019 senior class play; and, whereas the entire cast of this classic production displayed exceptional talent and commendable commitment to excellence, now therefore, the county council does hereby congratulate and applaud North Dorchester High School 2019 senior class play cast and crew.” Mr. Pfeffer then read the names of the entire cast.

They were Raina McDonald, Cartney Jarrell, Seth Talley, Jocelyn Meyer, Lexie Mills, Shae Reid, Tristen Raughton, Jasmine Lofland, Brooke Kimball, Robby Sellers, Devone Williams, Elijah Talley, Lucas Thorpe, Aiden Hayward, Jaime Fonseca-Gonzalez, Kirsten Blades, Kari Tolley, Ian Ledger, Jerod Thomas, Zhe’la Allison, Trinity Cephas, Gerard Esquea-Asencio, Brie Bates, Brooke Bates, Destiny Lane, Amber Talley, Savanna Crist, Cahleigha Brown, Karen Mejia, Kyla Lynch, Airrianna Lednum, Madalyn Wagner, Dalaney Mackert, Lizzy Chance, Mackenzie Toomey, Reid Fraccaroli, Liam Schwickwrath, Joe Nicholas, Anna Tyler, Brianna Toomey, Lauren Webster, Shanice Langston, Jakob Todd and April Anderson.

Mr. Wilson said, “Thank you for the recognition of all their hard work, and thank you for the continued support of the county.” Mr. Wilson was the technical director, while Ms. Rank was in charge of theatrics and Ms. Steward of music.

Jocelyn Meyers was on hand at the county council, having been one of the two actors who played Belle, the other being Lexie Mills. She was accompanied by fellow actor Jerod Thomas.

Other stars were Seth Talley, who played the Beast, and Robert Sellers, who played Gaston.
