Dawn Brode, branch manager of Shore United Bank displays the money wreath … no money … snowman to be auctioned off at the Festival of Wreaths on Dec. 6. Guess how much money and win $50.

CAMBRIDGE — When is a money wreath not a money wreath? When it is a Snowman stuffed with money. This Snowman will be spotlighted in Jackie Vickers’ office at Pleasant Day Medical Adult Day Care, so you can guess how much money is in/on/under/on top of the snowman? There may be dollars, 5 dollar bills, silver dollars, 10 dollar bills, quarters or whatever/ however the clever staff of Shore United Bank could make you count and then count again.

This is the first year the Shore United Bank has decorated the “money wreath.” No one told them it had to be a round wreath. Wouldn’t this be a fun gift for the family to open on Christmas Eve? Whoever comes closest to guessing how much money is in/on the snowman, will be notified on Dec. 7 and will win $50 donated by Shore United Bank.

The evening of the Holiday Benefit Gala, Dec. 6, at 7 p.m. the snowman will be put on the live Auction for Buddy Foxwell to auction off. No one will know how much money is in/on the snowman, not even the auctioneer.

When the Festival of Wreaths opens on Nov. 15, anyone can come in and make a guess of how much money is in/on the snowman. Congratulations to Dawn Brode, branch manager and staff from Shore United Bank for such a unique and delightful design.

Better look carefully, coins are disguised, money is slipping/under/on top of/out of/ even coming out of his hat. Check out our Facebook page where the snowman and all the wreaths are pictured, get the information about the 19th annual Festival of Wreaths/Holiday Benefit Gala.

Call Jackie Vickers at 410-228-0190 for more information. All proceeds benefit the participants of Pleasant Day Medical Adult Day Care, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
