There is still time to purchase tickets for the 9th Annual Guest Artist Event this Saturday, April 16 at Dorchester Center for the Arts (DCA). Proceeds from the event benefit DCA programs and services for children and adults, and assist the organization with operations throughout the year.

“We strive to provide as many low costs and no costs programs as we can, and this signature fundraiser helps to make that possible, which is why we depend upon community support at this time,” stated DCA Executive Director Mickey Love. “In addition, this event is also is fitting with our tag line, “creating community through the arts,” as it brings together the Guest Artist teams to create amazing work, and encourages community members to applaud everyone’s efforts.”

DCA extends its appreciate to event sponsor 1880 Bank, and to the Pauline F. and W. David Robbins Foundation Trust for underwriting the musical performance. Catering the event is Rock Lobstah. Performing auctioneer duties will be W.G. Sutter. Guest Artist Teams are:
