RFC responds to rollover

Cambridge firefighters responded to a car flipped against a tree on Saturday morning.

CAMBRIDGE – At 11:34 a.m. on Saturday, Dorchester Central dispatched units for a motor vehicle collision on Bayly Road and Governor’s Avenue in Cambridge, firefighter Kevin Carr reported.

Rescue 1-1 arrived on location with one vehicle off the road on its side. Firefighters confirmed there no entrapment, the driver had self-extricated.

Chief 1-2 established command and held the assignment to units on location. PM 101 transported one patient to University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Dorchester priority 3.

At 11:54 a.m., with the situation under control, command was terminated and all units were placed in service without incident. Mutual aid was provided by the Cambridge Police Department and Dorchester County Emergency Medical Service PM 101 from Cambridge.
