SECRETARY — Parents, staff, and students joined together in the Warwick Elementary School cafeteria on the afternoon of Dec. 3 to watch 19 fourth and fifth grade students become members of the school’s National Elementary Honor Society.

To earn entry into the NEHS, students had to hold a 3.5 average in all academic areas during the fourth term of last year and the first term this year and have satisfactory or above in citizenship and work habits on their report cards. The honor society selects students who exemplify the virtues of scholarship, responsibility, service, and leadership.

Dorchester County Board of Education President Phil Bramble was the guest speaker and provided motivation and encouragement for students to continue their academic success.
