CAMBRIDGE — Students were kind enough to come out early Feb. 20, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. to make sure all of the animals at Baywater Animal Rescue were ready for adoption. Students worked and helped around the shelter in any number of ways. They leveled dirt to make sure the runs and fences were working properly so that gates worked and that dogs couldn’t get out. They pulled vines and other general spring cleaning, stuffed Kongs so dogs had something to play with, bagged food and helped prepare the pet pantry, and last, but certainly not least, had a major puppy play party!

Thank you to 7th grade student Joseph Thompson and his mother, Amy Thompson for coming and helping us out. Thank you to Honor Society members John Henry, Paige Hinson, Skye Adshead, Kara Robbins, Karen Meija, Justus Smith, Hallie Bennett, and Madelyn Wagner for coming to Baywater on an early Saturday morning and volunteering to help the shelter.
