CAMBRIDGE — Meals til Monday moved to a new facility on Feb. 7. Volunteers with the group worked there to prepare bags of food for local school children to take home over the weekend.

“Congratulations to MidShore Meals till Monday, an important partner of Dorchester County Public Schools (DCPS), on their new home,” a statement from DCPS said. “Meals till Monday provides weekend meals to our youngsters, and today was the first day in their new facility in the Salvation Army building on U.S. 50 packing bags for our kiddos to take home on Friday. The Salvation Army has generously provided the space for their work, and their volunteers were making good use of it.”

Working with the Maryland Food Bank, since February 2018 Meals till Monday has distributed more than 494,000 pounds of food to Dorchester County families and students through the weekend meal and mobile pantry programs.
