There was loads of fun for all at this year’s Infants and Toddlers’ family picnic.

CAMBRIDGE — It was a beautiful day to be down on the farm. The Dorchester County Infants & Toddlers Program held their annual Family Picnic on May 23, at Sailwinds Park.

Several families attended and were treated to a picnic lunch that was catered by the DCTC culinary class and it was yummy! Farm duds were provided as the families arrived, followed by a quick photo session. To increase motor play and family interaction, families enjoyed the following activities: a hay bale pony ride, hay ride in a wagon, farmer minion and cow bowling, cucumber patch that needed to be picked and pickled, pasture toss, and farm animal ring toss.

There was livestock (livestock shaped balls) that needed corralling and Amelia Egghart had lost her eggs, but they were found all over the playground. As usual the bubble pond was a favorite at our I&T family picnic. The annual picnic is a family favorite event.
