CAMBRIDGE — Baywater Animal Rescue of Cambridge held a luncheon to celebrate their volunteers Nov. 14, from noon-2 p.m. at the Dorchester Center for the Arts.

The North Dorchester Middle School (NDMS) National Junior Honor Society was grateful to be invited and was surprised with a banner celebrating their team spirit, as well as a number of certificates and raffle gifts.

NJHS attendees were Andrew Martin, Justice Jensen, Lilian McDonald, Hallie Bennett, Cameron Miller, Brooke Brohawn, Madelyn Wagner, Drew Warfield, Kara Robbins, Abigail Jackson, Skye Adshead, Paige Hinson, Olivia Santos, Justus Smith, and Kayley Bradley.
Seventh grade students at NDMS, Joseph Thompson and Daniel Bradshaw were also thanked and celebrated for their volunteer time, along with mother/daughter pair Aleya Webster, 7th Grade student, and her mother, Kim Webster.

Other NJHS students who were thanked and received certificates but couldn’t attend were Brianna Bradshaw, Chloe James, Anna Hubbard, and Danielle Stiles.

Baywater, thank you for allowing us to volunteer, as well as for the recognition. North Middle’s NJHS hopes to continue a long and fruitful relationship!
