Delmarva Community Transit serves four Shore counties, including Dorchester and Talbot.

CAMBRIDGE – Effective April 6, Delmarva Community Transit will adjust transit operations to accommodate new travel restrictions announced by Governor Hogan in an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Monday, some scheduled transit routes within the cities of Cambridge and Easton will be temporarily suspended.  Transportation will be provided, however on an individual basis to riders who call in and schedule their ride with the dispatcher in their area before 12 noon the previous day.

“We are committed to ensuring citizens are still able to get to four essential destinations which are medical appointments, pharmacy, and grocery shopping and work” DCT Operations Manager Jerome Stanley said.

Anyone needing a trip with DCT in Cambridge and Dorchester County should call 410-221-1910.  Riders in Easton and Talbot County must call 410-822-4155. Riders in Kent County must call 410-778-5187 and Caroline County riders must call 410-479-3867.
