Caroline’s total is 12 cases; two have recovered

DENTON – On Tuesday morning, officials from the Caroline County Department of Emergency Services reported three new cases of COVID-19 during the previous 24 hours.

Caroline’s total positive cases are 12. Two are reported as recovered.

“Good news for those who have asked for location information, the Health Department has determined that since we have passed 10 cases, the data is generalized enough that we can release information by zip code,” the statement said. “We will have a map completed and ready to share by our 10 a.m. posting tomorrow [April 8].”

“Please note, the County’s data source for daily case updates is the National Notifiable Diseases Surveillance System (NNDSS),” the update said. “This system is the most accurate and timely local data available to us.”
