Grace UMC
Services at Grace UM Church in Cambridge on Sunday are as follows:

Gleaners Class
The Gleaners Class of St. Paul’s UM Church in Cambridge will meet Sunday at 9:45 a.m. with Jean Fountain having the devotions. June McKelvey will teach the lesson. The Richardson Men will meet at the same time with Phil McKelvey having the devotions and teaching the lesson.

Nazarene Services
On Sunday at 10:45 a.m. the Rev. Richard Prahl will be preaching on Mark 7:24-37. Carol Bloodsworth will be ministering in song. The church is located at 97 Sandy Hill Road in Cambridge. The public is invited to all services.

Pastor Caeser in concert
Grammy award winner Pastor Shirley Caesar will be in Concert at the Empowerment Temple, 4217 Primrose Avenue, Baltimore on Saturday, from 4-7 p.m.
Presented by Shiloh A.M.E. Church celebrating its 142nd Church Anniversary other guests include The Sonz of Grace of the Eastern Shoe and Charles Stanley Jr. and The Spiritual Voices.
General Admission seating is $35 and doors open at 3 p.m.

Community Day
Zion Baptist Church presents Community Day from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday at the church at 600 Cross St., Cambridge. The goal is 600 Souls.
There will be food, vendors, bounce house, games and activities, live music, raffle prizes.

Family and Friends Day
John Wesley United Methodist Chuch of Liners Road will have a Family & Friends Day on Sunday at 3:30 p.m.
The Rev. Roslyn Watts, is host pastor. Minister Dwight Jackson of Mt. Moriah new Life Ministries of Cambridge will be the messenger of the hour. The public is invited.

Ladies Prayer Breakfast
The Ladies Prayer Breakfast will be held 8 a.m. Sept. 15 at the New Revived United Methodist Church, Smithville Road, Taylors Island.

Community Yard Sale and Tag Sale
St. Paul’s UM Church, 215 Maryland Ave., Cambridge will hold Sept. 15 from 8 a.m. to noon.
Complete a yard sale application form for a parking space for $10 and bring a table and your yard sale items to the church parking lot. Set-up starts at 6:30 a.m. Rent a table and chair for $5.
Basement Boutique will be open from 7:30 a.m. to noon that day.
Items provided by St. Paul’s Congregation and supporters will be for sale as Tagged inside the Fellowship Hall.
St. Paul’s Youth Group will have donated refreshments for sale Saturday morning.

Evening of Total Praise
Waugh Chapel United Methodist Church, 425 High St., Cambridge, will observe its 4th annual “Evening of Total Praise” on Sept. 15 at 5 p.m. to celebrate the many ways to give God praise and adoration.

Anniversary Celebration
Christian Faith Community Choir will hold its 44th Anniversary Celebration at 5 p.m. on Sept. 22 at Zion Baptist Church, 600 Cross St., Cambridge.
All choirs, quartets, praise teams, soloists and praise dancers are invited. A freewill offering will be accepted.

Special Service at First Baptist
Mike Baker and Renee Jeffries will be ministering in song on Sept. 23 during the 10:30 a.m. worship service at First Baptist Church. The church is located at 501 Glenburn Ave. The public is invited.

Pastor Appreciation Service
Zion Baptist Church, 600 Cross St., Cambridge will hold is Pastor Appreciation Service at 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 21. Pastor is Elder Craig N. Mathies Sr. with leading lady, Elder Clarice J. Mathies.
Special guest will be the St. James AME Church Mass Choir of Salisbury in concert.
A freewill offering will be taken. Sponsors are the Zion Baptist Pastor’s Aide Ministry.

Sister to Sister
Sister to Sister is a women’s ministry of the New Life Christian Church and Ministries. The ministry meets the 2nd Saturday of every month with a themed event for food, fellowship and/or prayer. There is no charge and all are welcome.
Bring a friend and enjoy the fellowship. The church is located at 923 Phillips St., Cambridge. Biship Weldon M. Johnson is the presiding prelate.
CD Release
Bishop Hojane Cornish & Company will announce the release of a CD on Nov. 10 at St. John’s Holiness Church, 500 Edgewood Ave., Cambridge. Doors will open at 4:30 with program starting at 5:30 p.m.
Emcee will be Elder Clarence Cornish III.
On the program will be Pastor Kevin Joyner and Men of Standard of Chadbourn, N.C.; Daughters of Destiny; J. Caldwell & the Gospel Ambassadors; Maurice McZeke & MDK; Lead Me featuring Paul Christopher; This is Just the Beginning with Brothers by Faith and Sons of Christ.
