Nazarene Services
On World Communion Sunday at 10:45 a.m. the Rev. Richard Prahl will be bringing the message on Luke 17:5-10, “Faith and Communion.” Kathy Baker will be sharing in song. “Babylon” Bible study is being held on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. The church is located at 97 Sandy Hill Road in Cambridge. The Rev. Richard K. Prahl is the lead pastor. The public is invited to all services.

Grace UMC

St. Paul’s Sunday School
The Gleaners Class of St. Paul’s UM Church in Cambridge will meet at 9:45 a.m. with Gloria Whaley having the devotions and Gary Hickman teaching. The Richardson Men’s Class will meet at the same time with Rany Bradford having the devotions and teaching the lesson.

Lobster fundraiser
Christ Episcopal Church’s annual lobster fundraiser’s order forms are available from parishioners and the church office. Deadline for orders is Oct. 7.
Lobsters are approx. 1 1/4 lb. Order cooked or live for pick up on Oct. 12 at Whatley Hall between 4 and 5:15 p.m. Another option is to join us at 5:30 p.m. in Whatley Hall to eat our lobsters together. Bring a side dish and drin. Cost: $20 per lobster.

National Life
Chain Sunday
“Please Let Me Live Ministries” will meet 2-3:30 p.m. on Oct. 6 at Shoal Creek Mall, US Rt. 50 in Cambridge.
Join Pro-Life Christians in a silent protest against abortion. This annual event is nationwide. Signs are held that state: Adoption: The Loving Option and Jesus Forgives and Heals.
Lawn chairs welcomed if you cannot stand for long periods of time.

John Wesley United Methodist Church of Liners Road will mark its annual Paytons’ Day at 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 6.

Annual Trustee Day
New Life Christian Church and Ministries, 923 Phillips St., Cambridge will celebrate its Annual Trustee Day at 4 p.m. Oct. 12. Guest preacher will be Elder Rod Porter and congregation from Refuge Temple Church of God. A freewill offering will be taken.

Annual Homecoming
St. Peter’s UM Church of Meekins Neck will mark its Annual Homecoming service at 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 13.
It will be held at Kingdom Church & Ministries, Inc., 2620 Cambridge Beltway. Bishop Carlson Brisco Sr. is pastor.
This annual service supports the upkeep of St. Peter’s church, grounds and cemetery.

Gospel Concert
The southern gospel trio One Day Closer will be in concert at 6 p.m. on Oct. 13 at Faith Baptist Fellowship, 1312 Race St., Cambridge.
A love offering will be taken.

Night of Praise
The East New Market Linkwood Charge will host a Night of Praise at the Faith Community site, 509 Railroad Ave., East New Market at 5 p.m. on Oct. 12.
Calling all soloist, choirs, quartets and praise dance ministries to join in praise. Special guests will be Karen and The Fellas.

Cokesbury Homecoming
Cokesbury UM Church near Reliance west of Seaford on Cokesbury Road will celebrate its annual Cokesbury Homecoming at 2 p.m. on Oct. 13. Lay leader, Kevin Vane will deliver the message. Special music will be performed by the Rev. Brian and Phyllis Wheatley.

Organ Concert
The Christ Church Concert Series begins Oct. 13 with Richard Strattan on the Pipe Organ. This beings the season of five concerts.

Sister to Sister is a women’s ministry of the New Life Christian Church and Ministries. The ministry meets the 2nd Saturday of every month with a themed event for food, fellowship and/or prayer. There is no charge and all are welcome.
