Gleaners Class
The Gleaners Class of St. Paul’s UM Church in Cambridge will meet Sunday at 9:45 a.m. with Gloria Whaley having the devotions and Gary Hickman teaching. Shawn Peters will have the devotions and teach the lesson for the Richardson Men.

Nazarene Services
On Sunday at 10:45 a.m. the Rev. Richard Prahl will be preaching on Ephesians 6:10-20. Cheryl Thompson will be ministering in song. The church is located at 97 Sandy Hill Road in Cambridge. The public is invited to all services.

Bethel VBS
Bethel AME Church, Cambridge will hold its annual Vacation Bible School Aug. 20, through Aug. 23 from 6-8 p.m. The theme is Glow for Jesus Let Your Light Shine.

Fried Fish Dinner
The Mt. Calvary UM Church, 22903 Dover Bridge Road, Preston will hold a Fried Fish Dinner, 11 a.m. until on Aug. 24. For a donation of $12 the menu will include fried fish, fried potatoes, stewed tomatoes, string beans and cornbread.

Back To School Bash

Community Day
Zion Baptist Church presents Community Day from noon to 5 p.m. Sept. 8 at the church at 600 Cross St., Cambridge. The goal is 600 Souls.

Community Yard Sale and Tag Sale
St. Paul’s UM Church, 215 Maryland Ave., Cambridge will hold Sept. 15 from 8 a.m. to noon.
Complete a yard sale application form for a parking space for $10 and bring a table and your yard sale items to the church parking lot. Set-up starts at 6:30 a.m. Rent a table and chair for $5.
Basement Boutique will be open from 7:30 a.m. to noon that day.
Items provided by St. Paul’s Congregation and supporters will be for sale as Tagged inside the Fellowship Hall.
St. Paul’s Youth Group will have donated refreshments for sale Saturday morning.

Evening of Total Praise
Waugh Chapel United Methodist Church, 425 High St., Cambridge, will observe its 4th annual “Evening of Total Praise” on Sept. 15 at 5 p.m. to celebrate the many ways to give God praise and adoration.

Sister to Sister
Sister to Sister is a women’s ministry of the New Life Christian Church and Ministries. The ministry meets the 2nd Saturday of every month with a themed event for food, fellowship and/or prayer. There is no charge and all are welcome.

CD Release
