There will be a Chicken and Dumpling Dinner on April 6 at Trinity United Methodist Church in East New Market. The dinner will be served from 4:30 to 6 p.m. There also will be a silent auction. Nazarene Services
On Sunday at 10:45 a.m. the Rev. Tim Thompson, associate pastor will be preaching on John 12:1-8. Special music will also be provided by Rev. Thompson. The church is located at 97 Sandy Hill Road in Cambridge. The public is invited to all services.

Gleaners Class
The Gleaners Class of St. Paul’s UM Church in Cambridge will meet at 9:45 a.m. with Gloria Whaley having the devotions and Gary Hickman teaching the lesson Sunday. The Richardson Men’s Class will have devotions and lesson by Randy Bradford.

Grace UMC

Bible Studies on Revelation
All are welcome to participate in a Bible study of chapters -1-3 in the Bible book of Revelation, held on Wednesdays, 7 p.m. at Faith Baptist Fellowship, 1312 Race St., Cambridge.

Special Service
April 7 at 9:30 a.m. at Brookview United Methodist Church.
Bring your seeds, tractor, tiller, tools, or any garden/farm related items that you would like to have blessed at this special spring service.
Soup & Sandwich luncheon follows service at the lower level of Brookview Church. Brookview Church is located at 5136 Eldorado-Rhodesdale Road.

Good Friday Service
April 17, Zion United Methodist Church, 612 Locust St., Cambridge will be presenting Jesus’ Funeral: A Service of Remembrance at 7 p.m.
In this service, we step into the shoes of Jesus’ family and closest friends as they mourned his death. Use Locust Street or Glasgow Street entrances to the Sanctuary.

Wesleyan Activities
The Cambridge Wesleyan Church is now offering two services. 8:30 a.m. Traditional service and 10:45 a.m. a Contemporary service. Sunday,

Annual Ushers’ Day
On April 7, New Revelations Baptist Church, 711 Bradley Ave., Cambridge will host its Annual Ushers’ Day at 3:30 p.m. Guest speaker will be the Rev. Sandra Brown Stanley of Shiloh AME Church in Baltimore. She will be accompanied by her choir, Unity and congregation.

Gospel Choir in Concert
The UMES Gospel Choir of Princess Anne will be in concert at 3:30 p.m. on April 14 at the Bethel AME Church, 623 Pine St., Cambridge.
The concert is sponsored by the Inspirational Voices of Praise with president, Bonnie Cromwell.
Host pastor is the Rev. Randolph Fitchett Jr. The public is invited.
Missionary/Usher Day
Zion Baptist Church, 600 Cross St., Cambridge will hold its Annual Missionary/Usher Day on April 14. The 11 a.m. messenger will be Missionary Tyboria Banning.

Women’s Day
Waugh Chapel United Methodist Church in Cambridge, will celebrate Women’s Day on April 14, at 3:30 p.m.
Pastor Sheneatta Whittington of the Fruitland/Allen charge will deliver the message. She will be joined by her choir and congregation. This year we are paying tribute to the late Mildred Myster by wearing hats. Please join us in celebrating her by wearing a hat.
Brenda Davis is president and the Rev. James C. Whitaker is pastor.

Handbell Concert
On April 28 Zion UMC, 612 Locust St., Cambridge will be sponsoring a handbell concert at 4 p.m. featuring the CAPITAL RINGERS. It will be a fun-filled journey with the theme “Oh the Places You’ll Go!”
The event is free, with a freewill offering. Use Locust Street entrance or the Glasgow Street entrances for easy access. Large parking lot is available on Glasgow Street.

Retirement Weekend
A retirement weekend event for Jay Caldwell will be held starting May 18, 6 p.m. at the Ezion Fair Baptist Church, 1400 B St., Wilmington, Del.
Tickets are $25 advance only. (Presentations will only be given at the banquet.)
On May 19 at 7 p.m. at the Ezion Baptist Church the Gospel Ambassadors will present their final concert with lead singer, Jay Caldwell. Tickets are $20 in advance only with limited seating. Also featured will be The Brooklyn All-Stars; The Sensational Nightingales; The Miffin Sisters; Just Us; Evangelist Serena Ford and The Inspirational Gospel Singers.
