Annual Ushers’ Day
On Sunday at 3:30 p.m. New Revelation Baptist Church, 711 Bradley Ave., Cambridge will celebrate its annual Ushers’ Day.
Guest preacher will be the Rev. Jerome Tilghman of St. Luke UM Church, 712 Bradley Ave. along with his choir and congregation.
There will be a freewill offering.
The day is sponsored by the Ushers’ Board with Delores Jones, president.

St. Paul’s Flower Fair
St Paul’s United Methodist Church, 205 Maryland Ave, Cambridge will be having their annual flower fair on May 3 and May 4 from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. They will have their famous oyster fritters and crab cakes as well as homemade ice cream and sweets.
A silent auction will also be held in the fellowship hall. Thursday evening at 4:30 there will be a chicken dinner that will cost $12 per person followed by a concert by the church’s praise band. Carry out will be available for the dinner.

Zionettes 52nd
Anniversary
The public is invited to celebrate the Zionettes 52nd Anniversary and Youth Day at 11 a.m. May 6 at Zion Baptist Church, 600 Cross St., Cambridge.
Elder Craig N. Mathies Sr. is pastor along with Elder Clarice J. Mathies, leading lady.
Guest preacher will be the Rev. Dr. Raymond Curry of New Creations Baptist Church in Christ, Pompano, Fla.

Women’s Retreat
A Women’s Retreat entitled, “The Pearl of a Great Price,” will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on May 5 at The Empowerment Center, 615 Pine St., Cambridge. There is a $20 registration fee and breakfast and lunch will be served.
Featured speakers will include Min. Johnette Travers of the Rehoboth Temple of Praise, Laurel, Del; Pastor Arlinda Cornish-Barnes of Cambridge and Evangelist Latonya Bromwell from the Church of the Miraculous in Easton.
Senior Pastor, V. Louise Cornish is from Agape Temple of Praise and Ministries in Cambridge.

Women’s Day
Agape Temple of Praise and Ministries will host Women’s Day at 4 p.m. May 6 at the church located at 815 Center St., Cambridge.
Guest preacher will be Elder Portia Wheatley of the Kingdom Worship Center of Towson.

Joy Night 2018
Faith Community UM Church, 509 Railroad Ave., East New Market will host Joy Night 2018 on May 12 at 5 p.m. Special guests will be Karen & The Fellas.

Sister to Sister
Sister to Sister is a women’s ministry of the New Life Christian Church and Ministries. The ministry meets the 2nd Saturday of every month with a themed event for food, fellowship and/or prayer. There is no charge and all are welcome.
