Bethel to celebrate annual Children’s Day on Sunday

CAMBRIDGE — Bethel AME Church in Cambridge, will celebrate its Annual Children’s Day and YPD on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. The guest preacher will be Wayne Darnell Curtis Jr.

Mr. Curtis is a native of Queen Anne’s County. He is the oldest child of Shawan Burke.

Wayne is a member of Robinson AME Church under the leadership of Pastor Rashi Pinckney, where he serves as the Youth Minister, leader in the Music Ministry, YPD and church school. He is also active in the Baltimore Annual Conference serving as the President of the Young People’s Division.

Mr. Curtis loves music. You can often find him playing bass, keyboard or drums and singing for his local church. Additionally, he is a member of “The Zionnaires” of Princess Anne and “Remnant” of Annapolis.

The Rev. Randolph Fitchett is the host pastor. The public is invited.
