The Cambridge Pizza Hut recently teamed up with the Maryland AARP which in partnership with Safeway stores in Maryland held an annual “Harvest for the Hungry” campaign to raise money for the Maryland food banks.

Martha Mariner, area general manager for Pizza Hut and her Pizza Hut teams in Fruitland, Salisbury, Easton and Cambridge, wanted to participate in raising money and food for this cause. Knowing there is not a Safeway grocery store in their local communities, they teamed up with Maryland AARP, Giant Foods, Mac Inc. and the Care Giver Resource Center to fill local food pantries with boxed and canned goods.

Ms. Mariner says, her teams are passionate about giving back and making a difference in the communities in which they operate.
